A quiet beginning

Lana Garden is a small collection of ten private villas set among the slow rhythms of Koh Phangan — designed for travellers who stay longer, breathe deeper, and want a real address on the island.

Each villa is built around a courtyard and an open-air kitchen, with linen, ceramics, and outdoor showers chosen for the climate — not for a brochure.

Four types to choose from — an intimate studio, a terrace suite, a two-bedroom courtyard villa, and our pool villa — each with its own garden.

Stay for a week. Stay for a season. Either way, you arrive at something that already feels like yours.

The villas

Each one named for something growing in the garden. Photos and full plans arriving as the build completes through summer.

A slower side of the island.

Lana Garden sits on the quieter east coast of Koh Phangan — far from the full moon, close to the jungle, and ten minutes from a beach where the sand still squeaks underfoot.

We work with local drivers, a cook from the village, and a yoga teacher who comes to the garden on Tuesdays.

Life at Lana

Days that slow down.

The pool garden

The pool garden

A main plunge pool set among the frangipani. Yoga on the deck at seven, before the sun gets heavy.

The kitchen

The kitchen

An open-air kitchen where breakfast — coconut curry, fresh papaya, slow coffee — is cooked to order.

The quiet

The quiet

No parties, no speakers. Only crickets, wind through the palms, and rain on the roof.

Around the island

A different Phangan.

Koh Phangan is known for its full-moon parties — but that is one corner of it. The rest is old fishing villages, inland waterfalls, silent bays, and jungle roads that end at someone's kitchen.

Lana Garden sits on the quiet east coast. What's worth going for:

25 minutes · trek

Than Sadet waterfall

A short jungle hike inland to the king's bathing pool. Bring sandals.

Hidden cove

Bottle Beach

Reached only by longtail boat from the north. Clear water, one restaurant, nothing else.

Fishing harbour

Chaloklum village

A working port on the north coast. Morning fish market, wooden boats, dried-fish stalls.

Meditation · hilltop

Dome Silent Retreat

A Vipassana centre on the hill above Srithanu. Day visits welcome.

Full moon parties happen at Haad Rin, 45 minutes away by car — you cannot see them from here.

We open in autumn 2026. Leave your email for early access, soft-opening rates, and a first look at the villas as photos arrive.
